The 2011 PROM Workshop will be held at Caltech, December 13-15. We are pleased with the excellent participation and range of outstanding talks volunteered for this workshop.
A pdf file is available, containing the scientific program, list of participants, information on breakfasts and lunches, restaurant choices for dinners on your own, and places you might like to visit while in Pasadena.
For breakfasts, lunches, and breaks, we need to charge a registration fee of $120. Please be prepared to pay the registration fee on the first day. We request cash or a check in U.S. funds only (not credit cards).
A second pdf file is also available, showing the least expensive way to get from LAX airport to the Saga Hotel. This may also be viewed as an html file.
Burbank (BUR) and Ontairo (ONT) are alternative airports, although there are fewer choices for flights. BUR is the closest to the Saga Hotel in Pasadena (13 miles), LAX second (26 miles), and ONT third (34 miles). If you elect either of these alternatives, local transporation to your hotel would then be by Super Shuttle (at outside curbs from the airline baggage pickup areas at all airports). We do not know of any less expensive alternative to the Super Shuttle if you choose one of the alternative airports. However, Super Shuttle prices are competitive.
Participants may use their personal laptop for making presentations. Otherwise, talks should be brought on a USB memory stick.
It is not necessary for participants to reply to this announcement unless there are questions that one of us on the organizing committee needs to address.
