| DATA AVAILABILITY AND REQUESTS Helio Research data on specific days or events are available upon request to researchers. The Helio Research telescope is limited in field-of-view but has always been 5 X 5 arc min or larger. if you are in need of observations on a specific day, please check the table below to see that your dates are within our observing periods, then contact us via email with the specific target area on the Sun that is of specific interest. We will then check our records to see if we have data matching the location of interest. If these initial searches are positive, then please make a specific request for the data during the interval of interest and whether you need centerline Ha images only or whether Doppler images in the wings of the Ha line are also of interest. Please also specify whether you would prefer to receive the data such as on CD, DVD or sent to an ftp site. DATA ARCHIVE Helio Research digital observations of selected filaments and prominence (and occasionally of active regions) have been recorded during the best observing seasons in southern California, usually during the summer and fall of each year since 1999. The exact dates have varied from year to year and are given below. In addition, some campaign or special observations have been recorded at other limited times and are also included below.
